The 2025 IYRC International Youth Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Competition (Shenzhen) Invitational was Successfully Held in Pengcheng

In December 2025, the 2025 International Youth Robot & AI Competition (IYRC) was successfully held at the Shenzhen Science and Technology Museum. The event was guided by the Artificial Intelligence Professional Committee of the China Association for Educational Technology, the Open and Distance Education Professional Committee of the China Association for Educational Technology, and the Youth Programming Education Professional Committee of the National Higher Education Computer Basic Education Research Association; co-sponsored by the International Youth Robot Association (IYRA) and Beijing Wangzhi Huaxia Education Technology Research Institute; and jointly undertaken by My Robot Time (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. and the Shenzhen Science and Technology Museum.

The competition attracted participants and audiences from more than 10 countries and regions including China, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, the Republic of Korea, Laos, Indonesia, Brunei, Singapore, Switzerland, as well as Hong Kong and Macao of China. Spanning two days, the event received an attendance of over 10,000 people in total. Following the competition, the IYRC International Youth Science and Technology Culture Study Tour was launched, centered in Shenzhen and covering Guangzhou, Foshan, Dongguan, Huizhou, Zhongshan, Zhuhai and other cities. The tour not only boosted local consumption from international visitors, but more importantly, promoted the city brand and international image of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

The competition garnered great attention and strong support from leaders, experts and senior industry insiders both at home and abroad. International guests in attendance included: Mr. Rony Rahal, Chief Revenue Officer of Mobsya; Mr. RAWEEWAT TREESINBURAPONG (MR Aooddy), Co-founder of MRT Thailand; Ms. Trần Thị Lan Phương (Miss Annie), CEO of HUNA Academy; Mr. IR. FIRDIANSYAH M.I.T, CEO of Racer Robotic; Ms. SOUKTHAVONE VONGSAVANH (Ms. La), CEO of VF learning; and Ms. JULLY TJINDRAWAN, CEO of World Robotic Explorer. Also present were Mr. Zhong Zhigang, President of the International Youth Robot Association and Chairman of the Board of HanDuan Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd.; Mr. Harry ROH, Co-President of the International Youth Robot Association; and Mr. Philip Tan, Vice President and Secretary-General of the International Youth Robot Association as well as Founder of My-Robot Academy. All distinguished guests witnessed the splendid opening of this cross-border feast for youth science and technology and cultural exchanges.


○ Launch Ceremony ○

At the opening ceremony, Mr. Zhong Zhigang, on behalf of the organizer, delivered a welcome speech to guests from home and abroad. He briefed the conference on the key decades-long journey of endeavor for IYRC and My Robot Time: in 2020, the two parties forged a strategic partnership with iFlytek and reached in-depth cooperation in the field of artificial intelligence education for primary and secondary school students; in 2023, they embraced Huawei's OpenHarmony system with proactive efforts; in 2024, they entered into a strategic cooperation with Intellifusion Technology (688343), a listed AI algorithm company on the Sci-Tech Innovation Board, and became the first sci-tech brand to launch on the "Xuexi Qiangguo" (Study Power) App; in 2025, they independently developed a large model for AI education in primary and secondary schools and secured in-depth cooperation with strategic partners including Xinhua Bookstore Group.

While devoting itself to the innovation of intelligent education products, My Robot Time also takes the innovation of educational concepts as its mission. It deepens its layout in the global market, fully promotes AI and robotics education, and sets a benchmark for the development of the industry. The company makes unremitting efforts to build the IYRC cross-border cultural exchange platform for youth science and technology competitions, empowers teenagers worldwide to explore the mysteries of science and technology, and facilitates the global sharing of cutting-edge sci-tech education achievements and in-depth industrial exchanges.

At the opening ceremony, the conference also released the IYRC International Anthem I.Y.R.C. to the world. As the only youth robotics and AI competition in China with its own international anthem, the event's organizing committee composed both the lyrics and music for it independently. Forged by 15 years of historical accumulation and dedicated devotion, the anthem I.Y.R.C. We Build the Future was born. It will soon be sung across all five continents and seven oceans, empowering young people worldwide to scale the heights of science and technology!

Honor and dreams converged on the competition arena. Young contestants from across the globe gathered at the Shenzhen Science and Technology Museum, a palace of popular science, to engage in intense yet friendly contests across a range of events, including "Green Goal" Robotics Football, "Humanoid Boxing", " AI City Guardians", "Communication Master Ⅱ", "Strait Crossing Challenge (Drone Competition)", "Creative Design", "Bio Lab Challenge", and "Volley ball".

With their elaborately built robots and on-site programming skills, the participants demonstrated extraordinary innovative thinking and hands-on abilities in the tiered task design. Competitors of all age groups experienced the allure of technology through remote control operation and automated programming, and their outstanding performances drew rounds of applause from the on-site audience.

This two-day tournament is more than a top-tier technological competition. On this new landmark of popular science in the Greater Bay Area, it has built a brilliant stage where rising stars of future technology shine alongside a cutting-edge exhibition hall, fully demonstrating the vibrant innovative vitality and unlimited development potential of young people.

Meanwhile, it injects a steady stream of innovative vitality into the industry and drives the robotics and AI fields toward greater heights.

A relevant person in charge of the IYRC Organizing Committee stated that the committee will continue to collaborate with global educational institutions, tech enterprises and research institutes in the future to build an integrated science and technology education ecosystem featuring "Curriculum + Competition + Industry-University-Research", nurturing more young people to thrive in the fertile soil of science and technology.

⭐ Introduction to the IYRC International Youth Robotics and AI Competition ⭐

IYRC is the English abbreviation for the International Youth Robotics and AI Competition. Hosted by the International Youth Robot Association (IYRA), it has obtained intellectual property protection in more than 30 countries and regions including China, South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, the United States, the EU and ASEAN, and is a world-renowned IP for youth robotics and AI programming competitions.

As of 2024, its members cover more than 30 countries and regions including China, South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Russia, the United States, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Indonesia, Israel, Jordan, Morocco, Spain, Switzerland, Brazil, Australia and Colombia. It has become one of the world's most beloved and internationally influential robotics and AI programming events for young people.

The holding of the IYRC provides a platform for teenagers who love robot creation, programming and have an interest in artificial intelligence to compete, learn and make progress together. It also opens up opportunities for robotics and AI programming practitioners worldwide to share ideas, launch new products, conduct business negotiations, and carry out cross-border sci-tech education and cultural exchanges and cooperation. In particular, it enjoys an outstanding reputation and strong on-the-ground implementation capability in countries along the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).

At present, the United Nations Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) Committee has included IYRA in the list of UN NGO observers in 2019, facilitating the organization of various global youth sci-tech and cultural exchange activities.

In China, IYRC has long been a certified event on the official white list of the Ministry of Education (MOE). It also serves as an important co-organizer and partner for numerous authoritative sci-tech competitions, including the Global Invention Convention (China), the Youth Robotics Design and Information Literacy Competition of the World Robot Conference, the National Competition for Information Technology Innovation and Practice in Primary and Secondary Schools (NOC), the National Youth Communication Technology Innovation Competition, and the Youth Special Competition of the China-Russia Industrial Innovation Competition hosted by the Center for International Economic and Technological Cooperation of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. Widely recognized and praised by schools, teachers, parents and students both at home and abroad, IYRC has been featured in in-depth reports by major state-level media outlets in China such as Xuexi Qiangguo, Xinhua News Agency and People's Daily Online.


⭐ Company Profile of My Robot Time AI Educational Robot

My Robot Time AI  Education Robot Company, founded in 2008 and headquartered in Longgang District, Shenzhen, is one of the earliest local brands in China to focus on the fields of robotics and artificial intelligence education hardware.
